Threebrook Pack (“the software”) is an image compression tool that runs on your own computer. We don’t collect any information about you: the software never goes online, and it has no account, no analytics, no ads and no third-party data collection tools. Your images and packages are processed only on your computer and are never uploaded. This policy explains which files it reads and writes, and what it leaves on your computer. If this translation differs from the Chinese version, the Chinese version prevails.
1. The software doesn’t go online
- None of the programs (the iis-viewer viewer, the iis-cli command-line tool, the iis-decode decoder and the thumbnail component) connect to the network: no update checks, no analytics, no uploads. Compressing, extracting, checking and viewing all happen on your computer and work offline.
- When you download the installer from our website, the download server sees your IP address and the request, as with any website. We don’t use it to identify you or link it to anything else.
2. Which files the software reads and writes

- The software handles only the files you select. It doesn’t scan your disks and doesn’t run in the background.
- Originals are kept by default. Only if you tick “Delete the originals after compressing and checking” does it delete them, after the package is written and every file has been checked. Files that are in use, read-only or changed after compression are not deleted.
- A package holds your files’ contents, names and modification times, plus SHA-256 checksums for checking. Nothing about you or your computer is added.
3. What is kept on your computer
The software keeps no settings, history or logs: choices in the viewer such as light/dark or language last only until you close it and are not written to a settings file. Installing writes the following, and uninstalling removes all of it:

Uninstalling never touches your images, .iis or .iisz files.
4. Third parties
The software contains no third-party advertising, analytics, push or sign-in tools. The open-source components it uses run on your computer and send nothing anywhere; they are listed in section 3 of the License Agreement.
5. Your rights
Your data stays with you. We have none of it, so we can’t look it up, export it or delete it for you. If you have questions, write to us.
6. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, it is updated with a new version and published at pack.threebrook.com. If we ever add a feature that needs the internet, we will explain it and ask for your consent before it is used. For any questions, write to support@threebrook.com.
